Sasha Chichkan

Sasha Chichkan is a Kyiv-based artist, born in 1988. In 2009, she graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture with a degree in Ceramics. She began her artistic career at an early age, choosing collage as her primary form of self-expression. Her works quickly attracted the attention of viewers and curators, enabling her to participate in solo and group exhibitions.

The artist works in realistic collage, using paper, magazines, glue, and fabric. Her main themes are ecology and social change. The artist’s concept reflects the dynamics of contemporary society while reminding us of the importance of preserving nature. The realistic collage method she develops has earned a worthy place on the Ukrainian art scene, combining artistic depth with ecological awareness. The materials used are transformed in her works into social messages that form a relevant visual dialogue with the viewer.
